Essential Terms for Aspiring Instructors

By adhering to the addendum, Apprentices can focus on their growth and development within a structured framework. It highlights key areas such as trial periods, conduct expectations, and commitment requirements, all of which are designed to support the Apprentice's journey towards mastery in Salsa dancing.

Effective since 2010, this notice underscores the importance of understanding and agreeing to the supplementary conditions that accompany the standard Apprentice contract. It is designed to provide clarity and assurance, reinforcing the commitment between the Apprentice and the institution from the outset.

Your Sensei / School Director has the right to ask you to change your clothes or comb / tie-back your hair if necessary.   
What you may consider "normal" may not be acceptable to your students.  Be keenly aware of how you present yourself to both your team, and the company's student clientele. 

Apprentices must present a clean and professional appearance. Attention should be paid to safety, Company image, and client interaction. If your “presentation” is deemed inappropriate you will be required to leave and return after making changes deemed necessary. Apprentices may also be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal and termination of contract. Apprentices who believe they need a reasonable accommodation due to their religious or cultural practices should contact their Sensei.

Our Website Name Protection policy is designed to safeguard the identity and integrity of our institution. We strictly prohibit the creation or use of any website names that could be confused with our brand. Violations of this policy are taken seriously and may lead to legal action. This measure ensures that our community and brand remain distinct and respected, maintaining the trust and recognition we have built over the years.

All participants are required to adhere to our strict no-body-piercing policy during training or teaching days. This includes the removal of any tongue, mouth, facial, arm, leg, or neck piercings before entering the studio. Our aim is to maintain a professional and distraction-free environment that prioritizes safety and comfort for all dancers.

Excessive body tattoos will not be allowed, unless fully covered by clothing during all training and group class times.   The term "Excessive" is at the sole discretion and decision of the School Sensei / Director.   

Professional attire and grooming.  Should you start to appear as-if you are on mind-altering substances, by dressing and grooming unprofessionally, you will be asked to take a break from the Apprentice Program until you appear professional-looking again.

The decision will be by vote of the entire Apprentice team on whether you will be accepted bank into the program or not.
